Vineyard Management & Training: Organic farming. Alberelli (bush) and guyot. 6000 plants/hectare. Vines average 40-50 years old. Yield: 60-70 quintali/hectare
Vinification: Harvested by hand in late November, the grapes are fermented in steel at a temperature below 28C. Malolactic fermentation is in March. Spends 6 months in steel tanks, 4 months in cement botti and 2 months in bottle before release
Smells & Tastes: Ruby color with violet tints. Complex nose with deep purple fruit notes, strawberries, lavender, licorice and leather. Rich and long on the palate, robust but not overbearing tannins
